Health is Wealth
Health is such an important part of Well-Being and for that reason we are thankful to our PE Team for facilitating a Health Week for our students to enjoy. Earlier in the year, our students were delighted to have their P.E. teachers within their classes and I am sure, although in a slightly different format this time, that they will appreciate this again.
Finer details are still yet to be finalised and the format of these arrangements will need careful consideration but we very much look forward to the Health Week that is due to go ahead for our students in collaboration with class teachers on the week beginning 16th May.
Student behaviour online
Just a gentle reminder that when you are conducting live calls please do be sure encourage punctuality and attendance, ensure that children know it is mandatory that their cameras should be on and that no eating or drinking should be occurring during these sessions.
We know that you are working very hard on these aspects so thank you for doing so on a daily basis.

Just in case you missed it, please see the morning briefing attached here.
Highlights include Angela's informative video and other important information.
Also, be sure to check out the Shout out slides too, as it's always nice to receive a thank you.
Google Educator Level 2
Congratulations to Mr Mohammad Batta for successfully completing his Google Educator Level 2. Excellent job!
In and around school
Please join me on a trip around school.
We start in Year 1 with Ms Betty. On Thursday they enjoyed wearing hats throughout the day which certainly kept things interesting. Looking good 1.2!
In Year 4 Ms Mayuri provided a guided reading session based on comprehension. Students were tasked to read the engaging pieces and find answers from within the text and beyond.
In Year 5, Diego shared with us that every Tuesday they have a theme in his class. Last Tuesday's they had a Mad Hatter theme where people had to participate by wearing something on their head. Please see below.
This Tuesday's theme is Shady Tuesday where students are tasked with wearing shades.
Our Global Citizen students really care
Check out this earth Day poem written by Youssra in 5-6. Wonderful!
Many thanks to Miss Mayuri and Miss Jessica, as we have been trialling a system in classes 4-4 and 4-5 that we call, "Continuous Reporting". The video below, sent to parents before the start of the trial, explains the principles. Have a look! (video plays from picture)
