Congratulations to our latest Google Trainer!

Hot on the heels of Miss Renee, Miss Sara achieved her "Google Trainer" status this week! What a talented pair!

The beginning of 2 brilliant careers

Miss Feb and Miss Katrina are celebrating their first full teacher contracts! We are so proud of them, they have been teachers for large parts of this year and have done a fantastic job! We are lucky to have them in the year 2 term next year.

Parents are positive!

OK, not ALWAYS... but Miss Ana in y1 received some lovely praise this week! We would love this to become a regular-ish feature, so if you do receive any positive parental feedback, whether it be written, verbal or any form whatsoever... please do let us know so we can put it out there!

Student dedication

1-6 students have shown great dedication as the whole group completed their recent Guided Reading comprehension! Most are only 5 years old, completing independent reading tasks. Who says "it can't be done!"?? Not 1-6! 👍

Our Global Citizen students really care

Check out this earth Day poem written by Youssra in 5-6. Wonderful!

Getting "next-year ready"!

Miss Catherine has prepared a spreadsheet to help us get our classrooms ready for the start of the next academic year. You will see how it works - add the request, check the box either for "essential" or "wish list", including all required details.

Mr Anan is going to be busy! 😄

Book week has been a blast!

Year 5 students have really enjoyed their Book Week! Admin popped in to read the story, "The Black Dog" which they thoroughly enjoyed! Well done to Miss Ciara and the whole y5 team for preparing and delivering such a great fun special week for their students.

Robust reporting!

Many thanks to Miss Mayuri and Miss Jessica, as we have been trialling a system in classes 4-4 and 4-5 that we call, "Continuous Reporting". The video below, sent to parents before the start of the trial, explains the principles. Have a look! (video plays from picture)

The PD Takeaway

This week Caisha joined The PD Takeaway to discuss all things AIM. It was a delight to catch up with her to understand more about the inner workings of AIM. Thank you for your time Caisha.

The PD Takeaway has been made to ensure that we highlight excellent teaching and learning being carried out throughout the school and, where possible, our aim is to give teachers the opportunity to replicate that practise discussed. If you would like to see more examples of interviews with staff click here and to see Caisha's interview then click here.
