Happy Early release Thursday! Thank you for all the efforts from the last few weeks. Reports are being published today. As always, if you get any emails over the weekend you do not need to reply during your time off. Any support needed, let a member of PLT know.

Congratulations

A massive congratulations to all of our Football teams this week. Thank you to our PE team who supported our teams during the tournaments. Well done to our Year 4 boys team who came 1st overall yesterday, the win came down to penalty shootouts and a nail biting finish saw the boys bring home the medals. Thank you PE team and Coach Mr Micheal for leading our teams this week.

Palestine Solidarity Day

On Sunday, 30 November 2025, we will hold Palestine Solidarity Day under the theme “We Are With You”.

Our aim is to help students show kindness, empathy, and solidarity with the Palestinian people in an age-appropriate way.

Students and staff are encouraged to wear traditional Palestinian dress or Palestinian flag colours (black, white, red, green).We will also send a letter to parents explaining the day and the dress guidance.

Please be mindful of the amount of photocopying and printing you are doing. While we don't have limits please be aware of the amount of color and copies that are being made.

Gemini has leveled up again! Teachers can now use it to generate presentations tailored to their classes in seconds.

How to do it:

Head to gemini.google.com

Paste this prompt: “Act as an expert [Grade Level] teacher. Create a detailed outline for a [Number]-slide presentation on [Topic].”

Why do I love it?

I tested this twice, once without a specific grade, and once specifically for Year 3. The result was magic. Gemini automatically tailored the text complexity and media suggestions to fit the younger students perfectly.

💡 Pro Tip: Always review the output. If it’s not perfect, tell Gemini to tweak it until you get exactly what you want.
