Thursday 5th
Back to basics- Students moving through the building.
A back to basics focus we would like to encourage is SAFE moving through each building and up and down the floors.
Are students lined up in a safe manner?
Are you as the teacher, able to see students at all times when moving through the buildings. Consider being at the back of the line instead of the front.
How are you correcting student behavior if your class is not showing correct behavior? Consider repeating the line up until students show you the correct behavior.
Remember, students under your care are your Safeguarding responsibility, unsafe movement through the buildings is a Safeguarding concern.
Thursday treats coming through the gate
A reminder, we promote healthy eating at school. Please refrain on allowing any unhealthy food coming to school UNLESS it is the students birthday and you have sent a permission slip home with the student. Any food that comes through the gate without a permission slip from the teachers they will be sent home.
We are no nut school, please ensure nothing with nuts is being brought in, the food needs to be sent to secretaries.
Please see division secretaries if you need celebration slips for your classroom.

Techy Thursdays
Brisk, Google Form and SEL! It can’t get any better, or can it?
At the beginning of the school year, many students may be feeling anxious 🫤 or overwhelmed 😣.
Google Forms 📝 can be a helpful tool for educators to check in on students' social-emotional well-being 🥰 and provide support.
By creating a brief survey on Google Form, you can gather valuable insights into students' feelings and experiences, and identify those who may need additional attention. This can be a quick check in by having them select an emoji or write a short response.
Why not use this with your Form class and post it on Google Classroom?
Even better, why don’t you use Brisk to create it for you!!!!
Here is the Form that Brisk created for me, note that you can always edit it to suit your students,
