Smiles all around for the first outdoor break of the year. Thank you for all being active and present on duty today. With extra classrooms this year we need to be mindful of accidents during break. The support of extra staff on duty was extremely helpful. From tomorrow, we will follow the duty and rota spreadsheet for outdoor duties. For break 2 please follow indoor break duties
Back to basics- Communication with parents
We have had 4 full weeks of back to basics reminders. We have seen some great tweaks with learning and student behavior. 4 weeks is always a good time to reflect on how far you've come, positive and negative changes and, can anything be changed or improved for the next 4 weeks.
This week our focus is-Communication with parents
Communicating with parents is a very important part of our students development. Sometimes, conversations aren't always easy but that doesn't mean reaching out to them always has to be about negative things.
How many positive emails have you sent this term in regards to student achievement?
How do you collaborate when challenging emails or requests come to you?
Thursday 3rd
To celebrate World Teacher day, this Thursday will be early release 1.15pm. You can either dress down or come dressed as students. Students are welcome to dress as their favorite teacher. Students will be able to bring food in this Thursday, security has been told.

EMS stars of the show
Come and see "We Will Rock You", a great show including the massive hits of the rock band Queen. Mr Lewis, Miss Ivy and Mr Wael will be performing, and would love to see you there!
