Thursday 12th

We wish you a happy and relaxing weekend. Thank you for all the extra things that happened this week to ensure Tuesday went successfully and smoothly. Enjoy your weekend, look after yourself and we will see you Sunday.

Back to basics- classroom environment and morning routines

How we greet our students in the morning we often forget we set the tone for their day.

How are you greeting your students in the morning? What is your classroom environment like in the morning, do you have games out? Are students given a chance to talk to each other and to you?

A successful teacher-student relationship is built on mutual respect, trust, and open communication. When we foster an environment of encouragement and support, students feel valued and motivated to engage in their learning.

Quick peek into classes - we are loving what we see!

Year 5 students have responded really positively, "It truly brightened up everyone's day. It also helped one of my new students to open up as well" Thanks Ms Yumna for the pictures !

How to know if your students don't have photo consent.

Before sharing any photos for students on Google Site, Google Classroom or with Yasmeen on Social Media ..., ensure that you have the necessary parental consent.
Please refer to this guide to check how.

Please download a sheet for every class you are teaching and highlight the names of students whose pictures should not be shared so you are always aware of those.
Note that false means photos are not allowed to be posted, displayed in classrooms/hallways, Google classroom for that student.

For any questions, please let Hiba know.
