Welcome back, we hope you have had a great weekend and managed to relax and rejuvenate. 


Back to basics- Student uniform and bags 

School uniform and correct bags are an important part of the school environment and culture. We will send a bag letter and uniform letter to parents this week to remind them what is and isn't allowed. 

How can you as the teacher encourage students to wear the correct uniform and bag?
Is a class reward system a positive way to encourage students to be in correct uniform? Discuss as a team.
Why is correct uniforms and bags important?  


If you are finding students repeatability coming in incorrect uniform or with the wrong bag, please let Nicole or Salma know. 

Outdoor breaks 
Once we get the ok from the Dr we will send an email for outdoor breaks. Please note, we ask all teacher to be on duty for the first break to support. After the first break we will follow the duty rota. Please see the duty rota attached- we will follow the OUTDOOR BREAK DUTY tab.


PD Tuesday 24th  Year 1-3
This Tuesday will be the Mathseeds PD that was canceled on Thursday. This PD is for Year 1 to Year 3. The PD will start at 2pm and finish 2.45pm. Ms Hiba will send the link soon. 

AIM support sites 

If you are finding you have some students in the classroom that need support but are not on AIM. Please check the AIM Google Sites. Ms Zelda and Ms Rola are constantly updating and are available for you to use. 

EMS stars of the show

Come and see "We Will Rock You", a great show including the massive hits of the rock band Queen. Mr Lewis, Miss Ivy and Mr Wael will be performing, and would love to see you there!

 We hope you had a fantastic break and welcome back. Numbers are low across Primary and Secondary. 29% of primary was marked present today. We are still waiting on Ministry approval for summer hours.
