Refinement to illness cover requirements

We have taken feedback from your Team Leaders, and as such will remove the requirement for individual staff to arrange cover for their break duties off they are off ill. This is effective immediately.

Please note that if you are absent under predictable circumstances, for example, a course, meeting or medical appointment, it remains your responsibility to ensure that any cover is swapped with a colleague and covered.

The Google Summit will be a fun, high energy, two-day event where teachers and trainers who are Google for Education experts run sessions for educators on the best use of Google tools across schools.

The sessions cover a full range of subject areas; that provide the latest updates and application of tools that benefit classroom teachers, IT staff, school administrators and clerical assistants. We have a full range of sessions for beginners, intermediate and advanced users, and everything we cover is laser-focused on the application of the tools in the classroom, based on leading best practice.

Artificial Intelligence and Education

Artificial Intelligence Tools and Programs are transforming education. Although rapid technological developments inevitably bring multiple risks and challenges, AI has the potential to innovate teaching and learning practices. Having that in mind, I would like to introduce and new tech tool: Curipod.

Do you struggle to find time to create slide decks to support your lessons? Would you like to introduce interactive activities but don't know where to start?

Give Curipod (curipod.com/ai) a topic and a grade level, and it will generate an interactive slide deck for you in seconds, including Polls; Word clouds; Open-ended questions; Drawing tools, and more.

But wait there's more!!!!
