Mistakes are when we learn...

This is an easy concept to understand - 

1. We try something
2. We don't immediately succeed
3. We get feedback, possibly from an expert, a coach, facilitator etc or we just try again
4. We improve

However, it's not always that easy. Human beings have an inherent dislike of getting things wrong, especially children, and this can lead to a fear of failure that discourages trying in the first place.
