A message from Miss May
Dear Teachers,
We are glad to inform you that the Battle of the Books has successfully ended. It is a wonderful credit to our readers who dedicated their time reading books ahead and performed excellently all throughout the competition. They bravely battled in a friendly manner and conquered challenges with high spirit, grace and impressive knowledge of the books. Their hard work and the tremendous amount of support from their homeroom teachers have truly paid off.
Congratulations to all teams that participated in Battle of the Books this year. The winners are:
Elementary Division (Year 4)
1st place: Book Discoverers (4-3) -Hamza Elkenawy, Adam Elfeky, Jassim Alkaabi, and Ahmed Elhag
2nd place: The McCormicks (4-2) -Rilam Almasri, Sami Altala, Talal Al-Qahtani, and Yazan Abuasbeh

Our NEASC presentations will be a great opportunity for us to come together with our colleagues before our hours change. On Sunday 19th we will share our presentations in the gym from 2-3:30. We have made it this date to give you early release before the break. A yummy lunch will be provided and child care will be provided for staff children as needed. Please make any necessary arrangements for staying at school until 3:30 that day. Looking forward to seeing what everyone has been working on!
