Learning Principle 2: Dimensions of Learning
Learning encompasses creative, moral, social, experiential and entrepreneurial dimensions.
When unpacking this statement above you can think about your practise and question whether the learning you are facilitating encompasses the following aspects for your students.
Creative - developing new techniques.
Think about...How you are incorporating creative aspects, such as art and design, in your teaching.
Moral - The actions of yourself and others.
Think about...How you are including elements of Second Step.
Social - Consider what you fellow colleagues are providing.
Think about...How the children are working with their peers/friends around them.
Experiential - What's happening, with regard to learning, inside and outside of the classroom.
Think about...The number of different learning environments that you could utilise?
Entrepreneurial - turning experience into information.
Think about...Your students are learning through experiences everyday, how can you evidence this process?
It is with great certainty that you are providing these aspects in one form or another with your students, however it is always good to reflect and possibly further transform your teaching.

Cohort 8 will begin in October with a rate of over 85% of candidates who receive their qualification from Cambridge University going on to a leadership position or senior leadership position! If you would like to speak to any of our candidates who have gone through this qualification let us know - we have a list of educational leaders happy to share their experience taking this very valuable course.
Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications (PDQs) provide a strong framework to support the effective continuing professional development of candidates. Cambridge PDQs are designed to be integrated into your schools’ professional development planning, activities, and culture. They help schools to improve through cost-effective, sustainable programmes that benefit teachers and their students. They demonstrate to the school community and stakeholders that the school values and nurtures staff development.
It is a rigorous certification with guided learning hours, Program Leader as well as self-study expectations. Your final portfolio will be assessed by Cambridge ensuring the integrity of the qualification and certificate is awarded by Cambridge.
Educational Leadership focuses on the theories of leadership and their application in a leader’s own practice and leadership context. Certificate candidates should be serving or aspiring educational leaders. The qualifications were developed in consultation with Cambridge teachers worldwide and the syllabuses reflect the latest research and best practice in professional development, teaching and learning. The qualifications provide a framework for continuing professional development for teachers with experience, helping them to develop skills and knowledge to enrich their practice. Candidates produce a portfolio evidencing practice, learning and reflection.
