6th January, 2026

Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy New Year. Thank you for your continued dedication and support.

A child’s behaviour is often their voice. Even the smallest changes can signal when something is wrong. Observation is our strongest tool. When we notice, we can intervene early and safely.

Spot the Signs:
• Withdrawn from friends or suddenly quiet.
• Mood swings or unexpected anger.
• Decline in focus or presentation.
• Reluctance to go home or attend school.

Recording Matters:
Write what you see, not what you assume. Facts first. Share with the DSL team the same day. Never wait until tomorrow.

Try This Week: Jot one positive and one concern note per student this week — patterns speak volumes.

Reflection: Take 1 minute → When was the last time a small observation changed a student’s day?

 Clinic Visit Reminder

To help our clinic run efficiently and remain available for students who genuinely need medical attention, we kindly ask staff to limit unnecessary clinic visits. Minor cuts or small bleeds can be managed in class using plasters where appropriate. If your class has run out of plasters, please message the nurses, and they will be happy to support.

Block E Clinic Timings Going Forward

The Block E Clinic will be open from 7:00 to 11:30 and from 12:30 to 2:30. From 11:30 to 12:30, the Block E Clinic will be closed. During this time, all students should be referred to the Block D Clinic.

A quick reminder about breaktime supervision. The Primary Leadership Team has noticed several empty spots on duty recently, and in some areas, staff are standing together chatting rather than actively circulating.

To keep our students safe and behaviour positive, please ensure you are on time for duty, positioned in your allocated area, and actively supervising by moving around, scanning, and addressing concerns immediately.
