Sunday 18th

We hope you had a relaxing, restful weekend. Welcome back to another week. We have our Maths progression tests for years 3 - 6 this week, after a trial last year. As with the recent Science assessments, these are tests we use to identify gaps and plan future learning. Keep students calm about them and any parental queries can be answered with the reasoning above. Remember, we are testing students knowledge, not their ability to sit a test. Meet Ms Louwdine who will be joining Year 5

Back to basics

Read to your class! - children love a good story and there are many great books in the libraries.

Keep updated with information.

If you're not sure where to find information and/or upcoming deadlines please make sure you are checking

  • Primary school calendar
  • Mr Lewis's Sunday morning slides
  • The blog
  • Team minutes for information

We have a busy few weeks ahead with Support meetings, testing and reports. If you need any support please reach out to any of us at PLT.

Support meetings

As we lead into Term 3 reports, please make sure support meetings are booked. Reminder, parents should not be surprised by the reports. If you are indicating students as a behavior or academic concerns, parents need to be informed.

PD Thursday

Year 3-6 will meet to moderate this weeks assessments. KG1-Year 2 will have the chance to meet with new LAs for next year to review classroom set up and expectations.
