Awarding iSAMS
I saw this written on a negative iSAMS award recently, and am just sharing it as an example of real quality. The parent will receive this, and the teacher has written a firm, but supportive, reason for the award.
This morning __________________ was using very inappropriate language in Arabic to another student. This is also not the first time a student has come to me upset about what _______________ has said to them. I have spoken to __________________ about this and how he needs to take responsibility for his actions and admit when he has done something inappropriate. He has assured me that another incident like this will not happen again but I would appreciate it if you could remind him about making good choices in the future.
Space-buster
Great use of space and classroom organisation seen recently on admin walkthroughs.... we are currently planning opportunities for you to experience your colleagues' work - there's nothing quite as powerful as learning from our own! Coming soon!
2022/23 Professional Growth Objectives
Getting in early with this, as it might be something you prefer to spread across a longer timescale and chip away at.... however it suits, these are due to be published on your BlueSky platform by September 29th.
The video linked on the pic below will help to guide you, and a session within team meetings is also advisable. If you are unsure or undecided on a suitable objective, see buddies, team leaders and/or your associated admin:
KG1, Y1 and any new staff: Angela (plus Asiya, Sara)
KG2, Y2 and Y3: Renee (plus Melisha; Rola; Gina)
Y 4, 5, 6: Lewis (plus Masuma; Zelda; Kris)
PE: Mr Rami
Arabic: Mr Yazan
Term 3 Reflections
Thanks to all who have already put these on BlueSky, please make time before the 15th Sep deadline if you have not. The picture links to a video to support the process.
