16th November

A brief highlight of Year 6 biography day

Where might you have found Pele, Margaret Thatcher and Barack Obama this week? Together at EMS, that's where! Plenty of great costumes and presentations of writing arrived through gate 3 on Sunday, as mentioned previously. Please check the Pulse at the end of the week for more details on year 6's biography day.

Important Dates

Wednesday 17th November - Submit reports to admin
Sunday 21st November - all grades and reports on iSAMS
Wednesday 24th November - reports published

This week's big push items

Reports

If you have finished reports and buddy-checked, then please pass them over to your admin... early is good, help to spread the load!

Gradebook

This video below has a little gradebook advice:

Poetry Week

If you would like an admin to visit your class this week to read a poem, get in touch! Poetry is fin and easy and students love it. Monday and Wednesday look good for Mr Lewis - "The Owl and the Pussycat".
School photographs

Please be reminded that for the remainder of this week and next that school photographs are being taken in school. Please check the schedule here if you are unsure of your slot.

POP Awards

We will not add new POP awards this week, as last week's were not given out due to 3WCs. If you forgot last week, this is a chance to add students and reward the worthy! :)

There is no PD this week!
Please use this time to work from home to finalise reports, place comments on iSAMS, check levels match comments etc.
The leave time on Thursday is 1.15pm or just after if you still have students. LA’s can leave at 2pm except those on rota for staff children supervision.

Staff Covid Conduct

We need to be extra careful when it comes to break times etc. To avoid potential cross-team contamination, please revert to previous covid protocols, only meeting as teams and maintaining bubbles as much as possible.
