Tuesday 16th

Thank you to all who held an ASA yesterday. Students have been telling us how much they enjoyed their activity. Please make sure you keep checking for updates from Mr Rami.

ASA email

I hope you are all doing well.
With the ASAs starting today, please have a look at the below details:
  • As the bell goes off at the end of the day, students will have to go to the assigned classroom where the activity is taking place.

  • PLEASE POST THE ACTIVITY NAME OUTSIDE YOUR CLASSROOM AS THE STUDENTS WILL REFER TO IT.

  • If we can stand in the hallways during the first week and guide the kids towards their classrooms we would really appreciate that, PE staff will also be there to assist.

  • EMS Active Students in years 1,2,3 and 4 will be picked by PE staff, years 5 and 6 they usually go by themselves and year 4 they'll end up doing it when they get used to it.

  • Please be on time in your assigned activity class as students will be waiting for you.

  • Students will start arriving at your activity at 2, ASA will start at 2:05 and finish at 2:55, at the end of the ASA you can bring down the kids to the waiting room at gate 2.

  • If you are absent on a day that you have an activity on, kindly contact me as early as possible.

  • Here's a list of activities, locations and staff.

  • Here's a list of students in ASAs & EMS Active from each class of years 1 to 6, this will be updated every 15 mins, I don't recommend you printing it (Homeroom teachers and Secretaries you can refer to it)

  • I am currently updating your email on Clipboard and you will shortly have access to it.

  • Take plenty of photos and send them via google chat, email or whatsapp.

You will probably have students showing up with names not on Clipboard nor on the list I shared, please contact me ASAP or send them to the secretaries in your building and they will reach out.
For any emergencies, here's my phone number 33253138.

Documenting student behavior

It is important to log iSAMS awards, particularly -ve ones. If this does not happen, we are in a challenging position when it comes to implementing our behavior protocols and meeting with parents who have no history of behavior concerns.

Professional Goals

Keep thinking of your personal professional goals for the year. We will be having a PD on the 25th for goals for the year.

Cover

Please make sure you message Salma before 6am if you are going to be off for a day. The cover needs to be shared with the person covering your class, Salma and your team leader.
