In the run-up to the end of the term and the year, please be conscious that tiredness and fatigue can play a part, both in how we, and our students, behave. 
When frustrations happen, remain calm. Count to 10. Ask for assistance if needed. 
Avoid addressing students in anger, especially in public settings. 
We can never be perfect and will make mistakes. That’s ok, as long as learning happens. Students are ready for a break too, and we need to model positive, professional behaviour for them. 

Mr Yazan and his Team are pleased to share some exciting news with you. Today, one of our students, Abdulfattah Haritani (Year 5), has reached a significant milestone by making it to the final recognition ceremony for the participants in the Future Writers Competition organized by the Ministry of Education. This event will honor 16 students from all participating schools, and during the ceremony, the winners of the top three positions in Qatar will be announced. We  are all hoping that Abdulfattah will be one of them.

ISAMs Update

Mr Lewis has updated the notification settings for iSAMS CLA awards, so you should now receive notifications of them. He has also set it so that the students receive the notifications. 
Parents will only receive them if they opt-in on the parent portal (we cannot fix that at this end) so if any students’ parents are not receiving them, they will need to go to the parent portal and opt-in there.

 We hope you had a fantastic break and welcome back. Numbers are low across Primary and Secondary. 29% of primary was marked present today. We are still waiting on Ministry approval for summer hours.
