FIFA Arab Cup in KG2
The FIFA Arab Cup is in full swing in KG2! They have been hard at work learning about stadiums, football, spectators, how to do the "wave" and much more! This Thursday was Football in the Hall with music to match. We look forward to seeing much more in EMS Primary!
Football/FIFA Arab Cup Dress Up Day
Students and teachers can dress up as their favorite footballers, referees, or dress as a fan of your favorite team!
(Ladies: please wear leggings or jogging pants instead of shorts)
1st Math Olympiad
Every year, over 110,000 students worldwide challenge themselves to score 25 points over 5 Math Olympiads.
MOEMS tests are designed so that about half of all participants solve only 1 problem. A team score of 40+ (made of top 10 individual scores) usually is the path to the top team awards.
In our first MO of the year, our Year 5 & 6 team - earned 28 out of 50 points
We had 1 student score 4 out of 5...an incredible score!!!
Some Fun & Engaging Resources
NASA invites users to explore Earth and outer space via games that ask big questions such as, “How does NASA talk to its faraway spacecraft?” and “How does the sun make energy?” Free and fascinating for students and teachers.
