CEMs

CEMs testing has been in full force this week and we just wanted to thank everyone for their hard work in facilitating this process. The data being gathered will be of huge benefit and for that reason we thank you for your great efforts.

Here is 2-1 testing

Followed by 2-6

and here is also 4.4

Phonics PDs

Over the past 2 terms, lower primary teachers have been involved with Phonics PDs alongside the Al Wakrah and Al Khor campus. The focus has been learning and building teachers' understanding of phonics to support students in Literacy. Well done Ms Ana who is trying one of the activities in her meeters and seaters call with her students.

Some familiar faces are back!

During these difficult times you have to be ready for anything and that is certainly what these teachers and students have felt like of late.

Here you see Ms Ana reunited with one of her class groups today in her new classroom.

Ms Noura has been welcomed back to her classroom today too.

Finally, Ms Mel returned today as well. It was a great day for students and staff alike.

Special delivery

Ms Noura and Ms Hind were left perplexed today when they were delivered hand written letters today. Why were they receiving them and who could they be from? All was revealed upon opening them.

Ms Noura received two superbly written letters from previous students in her class

And Ms Hind received three fabulous letters from previous students too.

The letters were finely written and included lots of detail on how they are enjoying their year and they went on to reflect on their time spent with their former teacher. Well done to Mr Brad's class for these particular examples above.

Celebratory lunch time

Due to 6-7's famous victory in the Maths F-luencers competition last week they were treated to a wonderful meal. Their hard work and dedication earned them top prize in the competition so they were very deserving of their meal.  A champions dinner for champion students!

3D respiratory systems

This week in 6-2 respiratory systems were all the rage. The class of junior engineers built a number of 3D models of the respiratory system. Please see the video below to learn more.
