Seals showing the way with a socially distanced line

KG1 Seals are experts in keeping safe in line - their "Superman" technique means that the student in front is always more than an arm's length away!

Hummingbirds- business as usual!

Miss Mel and the Hummingbird students may be quarantined at the moment, but they don't let that get in the way of a good maths lesson! Amazing 3-D shapes hunt at home (with Bianca on her knee!)

Year 1 perfect listeners

Year 1 students showed excellent listening skills during the story of "Beekle - the unimaginary friend", and thought about their answers and questions really carefully. Well done 1-2, 1-3, 1-4 and 1-5!

Yearbook reps in action!

Miss Renee met with the students (just a small selection pictured here) who have been appointed as their class's yearbook reps. The students are super-excited and motivated to make the yearbooks look fantastic!

Mangahigh is going great!

A message from Miss Renee:
Mangahigh Math Influencers Competition: EMS came in 9th place in the Middle East and Africa. Our school will get a $100 Amazon gift card

Can we do even better? Keep your classes informed and set the challenge!

Our top 10 students, maybe worth a POP Award!

Literacy boost

Great news - 500 missions completed on Literacy Planet! For context, last time this was blogged, we were being congratulated on 100, and that was only last week! Let's keep this ball rolling - many thanks to you and your conscientious students!

Google Updates

Heads up! There are some new updates from Google for Jamboard and Your Chromebook. You now have version history in Jamboard and new screen grab features on your Chromebook.

Please allow Renee to take you through these updates by clicking this link here.

Earth hour

Earth Hour is an initiative to encourage individuals around the world to take accountability for their ecological footprint and engage in dialogue about real solutions to our environmental challenges.

Join us on Saturday 3rd April by turning out your lights, turning off your devices for an hour of peaceful screenless time. Engage in conversation with your family and friends about how you might reduce your carbon footprint.
