Happy Tuesday, we hope you have had a good first half of the week.  We have a lot of staff and students away with illness, so please look after yourself, rest when you can and let us know if you need any support.


Back to basics 

Morning socialisation - collaborative tasks, getting to know you, working together.

Consider how your students are able to practice resolving conflict. We are seeing a lot of issues during break and while we are telling the students what they should do during conflict, do they know what it means? Using bell work could be a good time to have them practice this.

Teaching and Learning Coordinator 2025/2026

PLT is delighted to welcome Miss Rola as our new T&LCo for 2025/26. The appointment was a highly competitive process, and we would like to commend everyone who applied and interviewed with us - you certainly made it a very tough decision! Congratulations to Rola, we are sure she will be a great success, following on from Miss Catherine, who has had a great impact on our school.

As we look ahead with Term 2, please keep in mind the assessments and important dates we have coming up. Please keep continuing with your efforts on the weekly R.E.D folders, parents have praised this and appreciate the collaboration with school on this.

 We hope you had a fantastic break and welcome back. Numbers are low across Primary and Secondary. 29% of primary was marked present today. We are still waiting on Ministry approval for summer hours.
