Welcome back to a new school year, it was so good to see everyone today. The leadership team hopes you have had a well deserved break and are ready for 2023/2024 academic year.

Important Dates

22nd-24th August: Orientation continues. Please check the schedule daily in case of any changes. 
 
24th August: Open day for KG 1 & KG 2 students and parents 10am-11.00am.

27th August: First day of 23/24 academic year 


Introducing our new MAT department 

We are excited to announce our Art department has expanded to the MAT department Music, Art and Technology. We are excited to see the new creative space in action. If you get a chance this week make sure you pop up and have a look. 

Team leader vacancy 

Our MAT department is looking for a Team leader, if you are interested in applying or would like more information please contact Lewis, Nicole or Salma for more information. 

 
ASA lead 2023/2024 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated member of staff to orangise and lead ASA's this year. This is a stipend position. Please reach out to Lewis, Nicole or Salma if you would like more information or would like to apply. 


Orientation Day 1.
In true EMS fashion our new staff broke the ice by 'flipping the bed sheet,' things got very cosy.



Orientation Day 2.
Our new staff had the opportunity to meet with other new staff from across the EMS network. We hope you enjoyed your social orientation after your busy networking day. Our Team leaders had the morning with Mr Alan, reflecting on leadership environments and their impact. We followed up with a reflective session led by Mr Lewis and Ms Salma.

 We hope you had a fantastic break and welcome back. Numbers are low across Primary and Secondary. 29% of primary was marked present today. We are still waiting on Ministry approval for summer hours.
