Staffing updates

Congratulations to Miss Nataliya who will be our year 5 Team Leader for the upcoming year. Miss Nataliya brings a wealth of experience with her to the role and we are looking forward very much to supporting her in her new role.

Welcome to two new Primary teachers!

Yumna Dwarka, year 5 team member: 

Dearest colleagues,  My name is Yumna Dwarka. I am a dynamic and passionate teacher from Durban, South Africa. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Intermediate Phase Teaching whilst completing an internship programme at Durban Girls’ College. Currently, I am pursuing my Honours in Inclusive Education which is a field that is close to my heart. I love helping little ones achieve their dreams and I am elated to be joining the EMS family. When I am not in the classroom, you will often find me with my nose buried in a good book or travelling across the globe.  I look forward to working with you all.





Robyn Norval, Art teacher:

My name is Robyn Norval, I am a teacher from South Africa. I am a passionate and energetic teacher who enjoys incorporating technology and play based learning into the classroom. I believe in lifelong learning and practice it myself. I am currently completing my Honors in Computer Integrated Education and am loving every bit of it. 
I believe that every opportunity in life is something to clutch with both your hands and give it a good go. I am looking forward to starting and thriving at EMS Doha this year and can't wait to get there.

 We hope you had a fantastic break and welcome back. Numbers are low across Primary and Secondary. 29% of primary was marked present today. We are still waiting on Ministry approval for summer hours.
