Congratulations to Miss Tina, Miss Ellie and Miss Sarra. Miss Tina has taken on the year 4 Team Leader job full-time, that she had been standing in for up until now. Miss Ellie has been appointed as year 1 Team Leader for next year and Miss Sarra has been appointed in the same role for year 2. We wish them all well and know that they will be a great success in their new roles. We also welcome Tom Stickings to year 5 as the incoming Team Leader. Tom joins us from Al Jazeera Academy, where he was Assistant Head Teacher for years 5 & 6. They join existing Team Leaders, Miss Andrea (KG1), Miss Saja (KG2), Mr Diego (y3) and Mr Frank (y6).

Recently cover has been challenging on certain days. On these days, I am forced to use some of the Primary LAs to cover full classes for whole days sometimes. I am always conscious of what a big ask this is, and always grateful for the goodwill and understanding shown by our LAs. Many thanks for all that you do!

A second "thank you" this week to Mr Yazan. Last week he gave up his time on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to attend our Block D behaviour reminder assemblies and speak to the y4,5 and 6 students about good behaviour and how a good Muslim should behave.
