Tuesday 2nd
As we move into the summer months, the days are warmer, students are spending less time outdoors, and end-of-year tiredness naturally begins to set in. It is important that we all take responsibility for looking after our own wellbeing in whatever way works best for us.
We are very fortunate to have our interns with us and to be able to use their support in classrooms when needed and where possible. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, our interns will be working in classrooms full-time until the end of the academic year. As a result, any staff absence due to illness will need to be covered by teaching teams.
Please remember that all requests for time off are considered carefully, but there may be occasions when we are unable to approve them. In such cases, staff will be expected to be in school.
We value fairness and teamwork, and we appreciate the professionalism and support that colleagues continue to show one another throughout the year. As always, we will work together to reach the end of the year successfully, celebrate the many positive moments we have shared, and reflect on the challenges we have overcome together.
We ask that, from now until the end of the year, you are fair to yourselves, fair to your team, and fair to your students.
