The break is near, but your impact lasts far beyond these final days. Thank you for showing up with heart, every single day. And remember, you are never alone: your team and leadership are here to support you whenever you need.
Every two weeks, our EMS Primary staff blog will feature a short reminder focused on safeguarding and well-being. Each post takes just a minute to read and offers practical, back-to-basics ideas for keeping our student and one another safe, supported, and ready to learn.
These reminders aim to:
• Reinforce key safeguarding habits in daily school life.
• Keep well-being and vigilance visible throughout the year.
• Encourage reflection and proactive care in every classroom.
Try This Week: Share one safeguarding “best practice” you’ve noticed with a colleague.
Keeping Our Play Spaces Safe & Clean
We have noticed an increase in food waste and lunch items being left behind during Break 1 and Break 2. Unfortunately, this affects the cleanliness of our shared spaces and prevents students from playing safely.
To support a cleaner, safer environment for everyone:
-
Students should only eat in the big cafeteria or in class during the designated 15-minute snack time.
-
Lunchboxes should not be taken onto the field or into play areas.
-
Please encourage students to tidy up after themselves and place all rubbish in the bins provided
