 Happy weekend, we hope you are able to rest, relax and recover! A full week coming up next week and it's a busy one. Thank you for allowing students to have a smooth transition back into the classroom after Ramadan and Eid Break. We saw many smiling and happy faces as students connected again with their friends and with you. 

Back to basics 

Students are coming back from an extended break and Ramadan hours, it's an adjustment for us as well as them. Taking some time to resettle, remind and model behavior could be needed. If you need to slow down the learning in order for that to happen please do. It is your professional judgment. Unhappy students don't learn.

Google Slide New Sidebar

New templates, building blocks, stock and web images, Drive & Photos, Recording Slides and Speaker Spotlight were added to the right sidebar of Google Slides.

Make sure to check them out! 

Face to face meeting

Sunday 13th will be face to face in the small cafeteria. Start time 6.30am. Please be sure to be on time. 

Classroom furniture movements 

Once we begin classroom movements and allocations a reminder, furniture unless purchased by the teacher will stay in the classroom. There will be no swaps between classes.

Cover 

Please note from April 6th, Salma will be back on cover duty. Please message her the night before or before 5am the day of absence. 

Google Certification 

The deadline for Google Certification has been set for June 22nd. Please refer to Hiba's email. Team time, Thursday PDs and once numbers start to drop there will be time to complete the assessment.

Gradebooks 

The Gradebooks have been completed. Please let Mr Lewis know if there are any issues.

• April/May Planning PDs will be the whole school in a small cafeteria each Thursday 1-2:30pm
• LO: We will be reflecting on current plans for each team, and using these to create all new unit plans, curriculum maps and literacy/math planners for next AY in the schools correct document formats.
