On behalf of PLT, thank you for your efforts during our 3WC evening and day today. We appreciate your efforts and parents were very positive after their meetings. It is a tricky time of year but we are thankful to have such a great team at EMS. Enjoy the 12.30pm leave time. A reminder, Ramadan hours start from Sunday. 

Back to Basics 

Students entering and exiting the buildings calmly also means safety. Please make sure you are constantly reminding students to exit and enter correctly. Lead your classes out, including specialists. Practice moving through the buildings if needed. We are happy to help, let us know if you would like us to come and speak to classes. 

Ramadan times 

Ramadan hours will begin from March 2nd Working hours for staff will commence at 7:45am.  Fasting staff may leave at the conclusion of their duty at 12:45pm.  Non-fasting staff may leave at the conclusion of their duty at 1:00pm.

TECHY Thursdays

Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides automatically save version history. This feature is a lifesaver for tracking changes, reverting to previous drafts, and monitoring student contributions.

Encourage students to use version history to reflect on their editing process and demonstrate their learning progress.

Use this feature as a teacher to monitor the student's progress, see who contributed what to group projects, and determine which students completed the assignment.

This is particularly useful for recovering work in collaborative projects where accidental deletions or unintended changes may occur.

Metrash Application

The Ministry of Interior announced that the old Metrash2 app will be discontinued starting March 1, 2025. 

The Ministry urged users to download the new application from the App / Google Play store to continue accessing MOI e-services. 

The new app allows users to access a wide-range of services, allows personal authorisation, request and reprint certificates, and more.
