Thank you for an amazing National Day. The students looked amazing, the assembly was spectacular and the whole school flag raising was a very special way to start the day. Well done to KG1 and KG2 who experienced their first flag raising today. 

PD today

PD will start today at 1.15-2.30pm in the Gym. The PD is discussing adaptive teaching and how it impacts students across subjects.
Please make sure you are sitting in your teams with at least 3 Chromebooks at your table
LAs sit with teams.
MAT sit together with LA.
PE sit as a team with LAs.
Arabic sit in groups across tables.
Interns in groups.

Hour of Code: A School-Wide Celebration of Coding

I am happy  to share that the whole school from KG1 to Year 13 has participated in the past week in the Hour of Code thanks to all our amazing teachers!

A special shoutout to Ms. Ronel from Primary for incorporating additional coding fun with Sphero bots, taking learning to a whole new level!

I also want to give a shoutout to Ms. Ritu in Secondary for her contributions to the Hour of Code activities within her ICT lessons and to Ms Amina, Ms Irene, Ms Nicole, Mr. Keegan, Ms Hala and Mr. Karam for the Empowered lesson - Hour of Code photos.

Our Secondary students, particularly the 21st Century Student Leaders, Miriam and Hussein, deserve recognition for creating an incredible coding space in Block A. This space is filled with exciting activities, including AI Coding Tutors, Generative Art Coding, VR sets, a Makey Makey Interactive Qatar Map, and a Test Your Friendship coding activity using art and Makey Makey.

I invite all teachers to visit this inspiring coding space and experience the magic of coding firsthand!
