ASA shout out

Phonics assessment coming up
A reminder Phonics assessment for KG2 (optional), Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 are coming up. Please make sure you are ready. We are looking forward to see student progress.
Continuous reporting
A reminder, continuous reporting starts next week January 21st.

Cambridge Early Years curriculum
We are very excited to head into 2024/2025 with a new Cambridge Early years curriculum for KG1, KG2 and Year 1. We will be starting the planning process in the next few weeks alongside Al Wakrah and Al Khor KG1, KG2 and Year 1 teams.
Upcoming trips
Term 2 trips have started, we hope Year 2 enjoyed their morning out today. If you need any support on the trips please let us know how we can help. Enjoy your time outside of school with your students.
Expression of Interest 24/25
Thank you to all that have filled out their expression of interest for next year. Please make sure you have completed the form by end of school day Thursday.
Thursday PD- team time
Thursday PD will be team time so; as a team you can organize and prepare your activities for our Learning@EMS morning on February 8th.
- All teachers in the year level can have the same stations/activities if that is preferred.
- Please make sure you are linking to your CURRENT or NEXT Big idea/topic
Please note, this is the only Thursday afternoon available before the event, please use the time wisely. Admin will be around to support.
