March 9th

Whew!!! We made it....it has been a busy few weeks. Time to relax!

-Take some time for yourself! Whether it's a long walk, a yoga class, or just curling up with a good book, make sure to prioritize relaxation and self-care during your break.

-Disconnect from work as much as possible. Try to avoid checking your email or grading papers, and instead focus on hobbies and activities that bring you joy.

-Don't forget to turn on your vacation responder for your email! Let your students and colleagues know that you're taking a well-deserved break, and that you'll be back to respond to their messages when you return.

Reminders

  • Sunday, March 19th CLC NEASC Presentations @ 2-3:30 in the gym, food and child supervision will be provided.
  • Term 3 starts March 19th

Early Release

Innovative CLAs in action

-At home, Jaad invented an FRD (Fan Razor Perfect circle drawer) using a DC motor, peg, markers, and a cup. He made this to be able to draw a perfect circle and reports it works with some adult help.

-Sara has been taking art lessons and painted a portrait of Ms. Sirine and also spent the weekend researching on her own to design and make a Food Chain that they are learning about.

- Lara draws a lot and brings much of her art to school. She has been working on color degradation and landscape painting.

Hasan is coding in Scratch to make his own game.

Jamal & Adam in Ms. Jessica's class wrote a book about being kind.
