This Thursday will be dress down/dress in the colour blue to support Autism Awareness. Please remember to dress appropriately and respectfully as it is the Holy month of Ramadan.

Please let your students know they are also able to wear the colour blue on Thursday or their school uniform.

NEASC Internal Reflection Teams

This serves as a reminder to complete the NEASC Internal Reflection Teams survey, it is important that we all participate in this survey for the success of our accreditation. We currently have 68 responses that complete this for our campus which means that we have many outstanding participants. Thank you to the ones that already completed the survey.

Being an effective teacher is about more than just improving test scores—it’s also about making a difference in students’ lives. When we asked our readers to describe the traits of a life-changing teacher, they said that great teachers make their students feel safe and loved, possess a contagious passion for learning, believe their students can succeed—and always know when to be tough to help students reach their full potential.

Qatar National Identity Accreditation Visit

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) will be visiting us on Tuesday 12th April, Wednesday 13th April and Thursday 14th April to conduct an accreditation visit.

In a relatively uneconomically entitled process - vis. Evaluation of the Quality of Qatar National Identity Implementation in Internationally Accredited Schools in Qatar - three representatives will be visiting campus and speaking with students, teachers, and parents, accessing our teaching and learning materials, and observing our teaching and learning. The visit will not be restricted to Arabic, Islamic, and Arabic History classes. All classes will be potentially observed. Details of the visit and its format are not yet available, but it will, at this stage, be a face-to-face visit.

The visit is an important part of our accreditation process, but it is also a key indicator that the pall of COVID is receding and we are moving towards our post-COVID future.
